AaraikeAaraike Charitable Trust provides shelter, nourishing food, healthcare and compassionate care to elderly, orphans and destitute people in Bangalore — until their last moments.
Aaraike Charitable Trust is a purpose-driven non-profit organisation established in 2021, committed to restoring dignity, care, and hope to the most vulnerable sections of society.
With a strong focus on destitute elderly, homeless individuals, and underprivileged communities, the organisation works tirelessly to provide shelter, nutritious meals, healthcare, and emotional support to those who are often forgotten and abandoned.
Aaraike is not just a shelter — it is a place of compassion and belonging, where individuals receive care, respect, and a renewed sense of life.
Currently supporting 100+ elderly residents, ensuring continuous care, food, medical attention, and emotional support.
Through community outreach programs in slum and rural areas, Aaraike continues to create meaningful and measurable impact across these key areas of service.
"Seeing the struggle of the homeless around me, I knew I had to do something — not someday, but now."
Born on August 7, 1999, in the village of Ajri, Kundapur Taluk, Ranjith left home at 15 after a disagreement with his parents and arrived in Bangalore with nothing. The railway station became his home. Struggling to find even one meal a day, he witnessed others in far worse conditions — unable to move, with no one to care for them.
He started small — working in a tea shop, then running his own shop, feeding refugees weekly. One night, he found a man suffering on the roadside, took him to hospital and learned the man's own children had abandoned him. That moment changed everything. Ranjith founded the Aaraike Destitute Orphanage, and today cares for hundreds of people.
